Lynda Carlisle

Lynda is a multi-faceted communications professional with more than 20 years of experience developing impactful communication strategies, coaching C-suite executives and delivering measurable results. She is currently a partner at CS-Effect, where she has led strategic communications campaigns for many notable organizations, including Girl Scouts, NorthShore University HealthSystem, Experian, Alere, Egon Zehnder, Leadership Greater Chicago and CSX Transportation, among others.

Prior to joining CS-Effect, Lynda was the Director of Communications for the Illinois Division of the American Cancer Society. At ACS, she led the public relations, publications and internal communications strategies for recognized programs and events, including Relay For Life and the ACS research program. While there, Lynda launched the Division’s first intranet, and managed employee change communications during a major restructuring. She also served on the national brand assessment committee and led the rollout for the largest division in the country, reaching more than 100,000 staff and volunteers across all Illinois regions.

Earlier in her career, she worked in the public relations department of Trinity Services Inc., a non-profit serving children and adults with developmental and mental disabilities. She also worked for Chicago’s iconic Field Museum, where she coordinated media relations including promoting the opening of the Sue T-Rex exhibit.

Lynda’s work has earned her national recognition, including the IABC Silver and Bronze Quill Awards, PCC Golden Trumpet and PRSA Skyline awards. She holds a master’s degree is in corporate and multi-cultural communications from DePaul University, with post-graduate studies at Harlaxton College in Lincolnshire, England. She is a member of IABC Chicago and serves on the Board of the IABC Pacific Plains Region.

Lynda spends her personal time with her family (including their pandemic rescue pup) and friends, volunteering for organizations including the Westchester Food Pantry and serving on the Board of the Springdale Civic Association.
