SEATTLE – The 2021-2022 Pacific Plains Region board met last week to plan the coming year of service to our 12 chapters. Danielle Bond, chair, IABC International Executive Board, and Tilden Katz, head of communications, SmithBucklin, joined the meeting virtually from Melbourne and Chicago, respectively, to share the details of IABC’s three-year plan, #IABC2025. This important information helped us stay aligned with the greater organization as we developed our plans.
The board retreat was a great way for board members to get to know each other and find ways to leverage our diverse strengths and backgrounds. Watch for some new things coming this year, such as continued refinement of the new website, a focus on member excellence and how we celebrate it, a review of what our members-at-large may need and how to deliver it, and our annual chapter leaders’ meeting, currently planned for San Diego this October.
