My first exposure to IABC was the 2001 World Conference in New York. Another communicator at my employer said it was the best way to immerse myself in current and trending communication topics and to meet others in my new field. She was so right!
I found experts and fellow learners as excited as I was. I learned why and how to create a strategic communications plan. I met people who were so incredibly knowledgeable about all things communication. And I found a calling and a family.

Consider registering for the 2022 IABC World Conference, June 26-29. Meet people from around the world. Soak up the knowledge, the atmosphere and the fun. Come back energized and maybe a little bit dazzled by all the ideas and conversation, and then discover how you’ll apply what you’ve learned to your job, your career, and maybe even your volunteerism (nudge, nudge).
